Since 2006, Pauline and Matthew Howden have been directing Kidsbase towards enriching the lives of children through OSCAR programmes.
Even before 2006, Pauline has been involved with children as a Primary Level Teacher who has taught in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom.
We are also parents to two very active primary aged boys and a pre-school girl which gives us first-hand experience in understanding the needs of children, and of course the needs and demands of busy family life.
At Kidsbase we pride ourselves on offering quality, safety and most of all fun, through a dedicated team of staff all committed to delivering exceptional programmes for the children, parents and wider communities.
With well-established venues in Government and Catholic Integrated schools across Christchurch and North Canterbury, Kidsbase have become experts on what kids want and what parents/caregivers need.
OSCAR (Out of School Care and Recreation) programmes are seen as important opportunities for promoting healthy child development by engaging children in physical and creative activities and for developing life skills within their community.
We encourage you to further browse this website and learn more about who we are and what we do.
