Staff are our biggest asset and we pride ourselves in the level of experience each and every staff member brings to each kidsbase programme.
All our staff have a genuine interest in the well-being of the children that attend Kidsbase and a number of our staff are training to become qualified teachers and caregivers in our Communities.
Kidsbase staff are chosen carefully and complete a thorough recruitment process; this includes formal interviews, full referee checks and police vetting checks. All kidsbase staff must complete a comprehensive first aid training course as well as current Behaviour Management Training, Health & Safety Training, Emergency Procedures Training and Child Protection Training. These qualifications are displayed at all Kidsbase programmes. Training manuals and Kidsbase Policies and Procedures are available for staff and families to review at all times.
All our programmes follow Ministry of Social Development Staffing Guidelines.
